The Correspondence Chess Message Board

What is this all about?

Inspired by a recent TCCMB posting, a "Friend of TCCMB" is someone who wants to support TCCMB, the forum and institution, in a tangible and public way.

What are the benefits of becoming a Friend of TCCMB?

Right now, there are three main benefits:

1. You can use the logo above on your web site, to show you are a supporter;

2. Your daily posting limit (normally 10) is automatically raised to 15;

3. Your name and country are listed on the recognition page, if desired.

How can I participate?

Very simple. Using PayPal (http://www.paypal.com) send a USD donation in the amount of your choice to the following email address:

Or, if you wish to make a donation via VISA, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express, or e-check in any of the following currencies: US Dollar, Euro, GB Pound Sterling, Japanese Yen, or Canadian Dollar, all you have to do is go to the following page, which will lead you to a fast, secure, transaction.

Finally, should you wish to use another method to donate, simply send an email to the address given with your preferences.

Can I use the logo at my site if I don't donate?

Sorry, no.

What about commercial donors?

This is perfectly fine - just indicate the name you want the donation listed under when you make your donation.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

No, there isn't - give whatever you want to. Donations which total  $100 USD or more will be listed in a special section on the recognition page (Lifetime Patron). Anything that you would care to give would be appreciated, and recognized. Suggested minimum donation amounts: individuals $10 USD per year, commercial $20 USD per year. The suggested minimum amounts are given as a guide only. Feel free to participate in this voluntary program in any way that you want to, or not at all.
