WELCOME!
Correspondence Chess has played a major role in my life providing joy, sometimes grief, but always excitement. And, if you're reading this, it is likely that you share my enthusiasm for this exciting and challenging game.
So with great pleasure I join the correspondencechess.com network to share my experiences and perspectives with the chess community. Browse, enjoy, and do comment in the feedback page on what you specifically like, dislike, or would like to see in the future.
The about me page will give you a short description of who I am, what I do, and what I enjoy. The articles page is where the most recent postings are located. The articles will be on games, tournaments, people, opening and endgame analyses, the future of chess by mail, and any other aspect of correspondence and e-mail chess that comes to mind.
The X-th World Correspondence Chess Championship page contains the games and a personal account of the tournament that brought me the world title. It's a story somewhat mellowed by time of my struggle to reach this World Final, my preparation and thoughts before the tournament, and the agony and ecstasy I encountered. There were many lessons learned during this long journey that are worth repeating!
The archives page is the "resting" place for all information that appears on this web page. Enjoy!
